Modern Wall Lamp

The grillo wall-lamp of elise fouin is after all a simple and elegant solution to dress up a light bulb. Dressed by a per forated metal disc, of 23 or 36cm of diameter, the light bulb disappears and allows a light to seep through and be diffused. The minimal structure, combined with the light, becomes an eclipse.

Elise Fouin

Born in 1979 Élise Fouin lives and works in Paris. After graduating from l’École Boulle, she was nominated «talent à la carte» at Maison & Objet in 2010. She also exposed work in the «in Vitro/ Génération Boulle» exposition for the VIA Paris before being integrated into the Pavillion Français at the 100% Design show in London. In 2011 she participated in the «Lampes Tempête» exhibition for Designer’s Days, followed in 2012 by exposing for «L’Emoi du Design» at the Matadero museum in Madrid. In 2013 Élise Fouin participated in the Design Tour, as well as at the Design Biennale in Saint Étienne.
