BRICHET ZIGLET

Founded in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, the Studio BrichetZiegler fosters a wholistic, barrier-free vision of design where creativity and technical prowess combine. Tapping into their intimate understanding of craftsmanship and techniques, they bring to the fore novel ways of using materials and shapes. 

For the past 10 years, the duo has maintained an ongoing creative dialogue and open forum wherein new ideas of shape, material, and poetic creation fuse and blend in an endless dance. 

Their numerous projects evolve over time with each new encounter and stand as a testament to their underlying penchant for furniture and working with spaces of all sizes. 

Such projects have seen them work hand in hand with furniture and light producers, while also as industrial design consultants helping companies develop new products. 

Colourful, visually strong, expressive – they design objects that tell a story; pieces where an item’s ultimate use is just as important what it is made of. 

In 2015, the designer duo sought to branch out and experiment with new means of expression and became some of the first French designers to produce their own pieces with their brand By Hands. The collection of objects and small furniture items is entirely hand made in limited-edition in their Haute-Savoie workshop.
