Studio Brichet-Ziegler

Caroline Ziegler et Pierre Brichet founded the studio BRICHETZIEGLER in 2010. The design duo built up through exchange and dialogue to make an open think tank, where poetry, materials and forms express with sensitivity.

They collaborate with several furniture and lighting companies, and work on industrial projects and interior design.

In 2015, they started a new adventure while launching a self made collection, By Hands. A family of objects and small furniture, imagined, designed and made by themselves in their workshop, in limited edition. This is a laboratory for various researches on shapes and materials. They were awarded the VIA Project Assistance grants in 2011 and 2012, and the Bourse Agora grant in 2007 with Collectif Dito.In 2018, they are awarded Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris.

A garden trolley, combining style and practicality

Designed by the Brichet Ziegler studio and produced by Petite Friture in 2017, the Week-End collection of designer garden furniture was selected to join the CNAP collections in 2018.


Like the rest of the collection, the Week-End sideboard is available in 8 distinctive colours: black, white, burgundy, blue, blush, yellow, jade green, and bottle green. Week-End stands out with its contrasting horizontal and vertical slats that emphasize the positive and negative spaces and underscore the collection’s identity. The half-rounded frame makes the design free of any harsh edges and serves as another unique graphic feature of the collection.
