Petite Friture organises ground-breaking meets with designers, both established and up-and-coming, to develop unique collections that spark inspiration. As a result of these initiatives, we develop long-lasting relationships with our designers. Hollo is the second project that designer duo AC/AL have taken on as part of their continued collaboration with Petite Friture.

Hollo’s structural patterns blend empty spaces, rhythmic lines, and continuous surfaces – a design that captures our gaze and then releases it. Just like the stool in this collection can also be used as a side table, the Bistrot table also serves a dual purpose. It is 72 cm high and can double up as a pedestal table. Available in 6 different colours

AC/AL Studio

After graduating from ENSCI-Les Ateliers, Amandine Chhor and Aïssa Logerot kick-started their careers working in architecture and design studios for five years, as well as for companies such as Hermès. Between 2009 and 2012, they collaborated on contemporary design projects, using sustainable artisanal techniques, in developing countries such as Cambodia, Morocco and Cameroon. The duo founded their own design studio in Paris in 2013, with the aim of creating objects that tell a story and achieve a perfect balance between function, form and production technique. Passionate about materials, arts and crafts, and industrial manufacturing processes, they design products and furniture that are functional yet simplistic.

Stylish Bistrot or pedestal table

The Hollo range is made of metal and coated in a grainy epoxy paint finish for a long-lasting use. 


“The pieces we create reflect our passion for the materials and the manufacturing techniques we use, whether handcraft or industrial. We work well as a team, and share the same vision of design, which is why we collaborated on a range of furniture for Petite Friture. We had initially planned to produce it on a craftsmanship scale, but ended up adapting it for large-scale production.”
